Empowering Young Girls in Mining
The WIM Junior Chapter exists to plant seeds early. We visit junior and senior secondary schools across Ghana to introduce girls to careers in mining, expose them to inspiring female role models, and build excitement around STEM subjects that open doors to the sector.
STEM Outreach
Interactive school visits, science fairs, and hands-on sessions that make geology and engineering accessible and exciting.
Role Models
Connecting young girls with professional women in mining who share their journeys, challenges, and achievements.
School Clubs
Establishing WIM Junior clubs in schools to build a community of future mining professionals from an early age.
